Komet
Germany.
Komet‑Autofabrik Buchmann & Co. built cyclecars in Leisnig Saxonia (Germany) from 1921 to 1923.
The company was part of the many small German automobile makers that sprung up in the early 1920s in Saxony and elsewhere, many of which had short lives.
They used a Steudel‑Werke engine but there was no commercial success. There are no known cars in existence.
After 1924 the production was taken over by C. Kenter Automobilbau AG (Berlin/Leisnig) who used the former Komet works.
