Hisparco
Madrid, Spain.
Hisparco was founded in Madrid around 1924 by Carlos Pérez del Arco.

The name “Hisparco” appears to derive from a hybrid of “HISPA(ña)” + “ARCO” (from Pérez del Arco) — emphasizing a Spanish identity. It ceased production in 1929.
Carlos Pérez del Arco built the Hisparco in Madrid beginning in 1924—a small but remarkably sporty car. Despite its modest engine size, the Hisparco featured a lively French-made 1,100 cc four-cylinder engine that gave it impressive performance for its class. Thanks to this spirited design, the car successfully competed in several speed events, including the 12 Hours of the Mountain Test at the Guadarrama Circuit and the San Sebastián Rally in October 1925.
It is believed that around 100 to 150 units were produced. The 1923 Hisparco 6/8 CV shown here is currently at at Col·lecció d’Automòbils Salvador Claret in Sils, Girona.
