Fafnir
1908-1926
Originally part of Carl Schwanemeyer, a company in Aachen, Germany, which produced needles and later ball bearings.
In 1902, the company began producing kits for motor vehicles, sold under the name Fafnir, named after the dragon from Norse mythology.
In 1904, it was reorganized as Fafnir-Werke AG, and began producing complete automobiles.
