Davis
Richmond, Indiana. USA.
The George W. Davis Motor Car was located in Richmond, Indiana from from 1908 to 1929. Their slogan was “Quality Counts”.
George W. Davis had earlier been involved in carriage-making: he moved to Richmond in 1902 and, in partnership, established the Davis & Taylor Carriage Company.
In 1908 he announced the launch of an automobile bearing his name; early cars were motorized buggies, and by 1911 full touring car models were in production.
