The first-generation Cablight, the A20, was launched in 1958.
1966 Datsun Cablight 1150.
In the intervening ten years, the A20 was widely used along with the Datsun Truck as a very capable yet compact vehicle for commercial goods transport.
The second-generation A220 was launched in March 1964, followed by the A221 with its D11 engine in April 1966.
In 1968, following a third model change, it was reintroduced as the Cabstar (A320).
