This 356B model not just been given a new look, it has also been re-engineered with new technology.
One example is the moveable body sections made of aluminum. Other pioneering features include the safety steering system with hydraulic shock absorbers and the optimized cooling of the brakes.
Also new are the different transmission ratios. From 1955 on, all vehicles with a racing engine have the word "Carrera" added to their name.
