Car Chat Interviews
Spyker chief Victor Muller (the new Saab owner) wants to start his new work with an entry level Saab hatchback. The Project 92 should be a kind of Mini, Audi A1 Mito fighter. the car`s name will probably be the 9-1.
The car will have some elements of the original "ursaab", the 92, but it will be more modern.
Larson's view of this rumored vehicle is illustrated below.

Looks awesome :)
The car has Saab design features, but the composition does not. It is the way Renault tends to design cars, they start with a basic practical shape and try to make the design acceptable by detailed designs on the trimming.
Saab however traditionally let function lead to form, and specifically aerodynamics. This car is a fun hatchback like the mini, that misses the direct link to serious aviation. Saab must be designing, developing and building cars that are like airplanes that don't fly. The cars must be as good, fast and safe as an airplane.
That's a Mini, although there are a couple pleasing details like the curvature of the door and the backend. The frontend looks like it still has the Mini headlights underneath the pasted-on Saab lights.
What isn't saab-like is that the Mini isn't aerodynamic...it's just such a small frontal area that it does okay. The Saab answer to the Mini will have to be aero, and so it will probably need to be a foot or two longer than the Mini.
looks like a mini vs volvo v30 vs renault megane (2007 version) vs saab -_-
