Lincoln TownCar logo. The Lincoln Town Car is a full-size luxury sedan and serves as the flagship of Ford's Lincoln luxury car division. The Town Car name first appeared in the Lincoln line in 1922, on a custom built Lincoln for Henry Ford. (Production: 1981present).
LINCOLN EMBLEMS
Lincoln offered several hood ornament and other emblem decorations since 1922. Lincoln adopted a greyhound dog as its uniformed stand-up hood ornament in 1927. It typified speed, stamina and beauty. (source: Ford)
