Chrysler LLC Reassigns Advertising Creative for the Jeep® Brand to BBDO

Chrysler LLC announced in January that it has reassigned advertising creative for its Jeep® brand to BBDO Detroit. For the past two years, these responsibilities were handled by Cutwater, the San Francisco-based advertising agency that is part of the Omnicom Group.
“BBDO has done an excellent job with the all-new Dodge Ram. Despite the toughest market in history, Ram sales grew month over month during its launch. We look forward to BBDO developing similar outstanding creative solutions for Jeep,” said Steven Landry, Executive Vice President – North American Sales, Marketing, and Mopar Parts and Service. “Consolidating all creative on Jeep with BBDO will enable us to maximize efficiencies and the effectiveness of our efforts going forward.”
BBDO Detroit has served as the advertising agency of record for Jeep since 2001, handling all account coordination and integration of marketing initiatives. It is also agency of record for the Chrysler and Dodge brands.
