The Mitsubishi Galant FTO is a rear-wheel drive coupe produced by Japanese automaker Mitsubishi Motors from 1971 to 1974.
It was first introduced with a 54 kW (72 hp) 1378 cc 4G41 "Neptune" engine, until it was replaced during a 1973 redesign by a brace of 1597 cc 4G32 "Saturn" powerplants, offering either 63 kW (86 PS/84 hp) or 68 kW (92 PS/91 hp) depending on the state of tune.
The FTO name was resurrected twenty years after production ceased, when the company introduced the Mitsubishi FTO in 1994.
