In the beginning of 2010 we are releasing a new theatre piece based on the brilliant novel ‘The house of silence’ (sessiv ev) of Orhan Pamuk. For the set of this piece we need a good photograph of the here above shown advertising picture of the Anadol A1 1.3 1972. And if possible a picture of the front of the same car as well. The picture we have is not sufficient enough to be enlarged to a real size poster. If you could help us in any way we would be very obliged.

But let me now introduce myself and our company to you. For more than thirty years (O.T.) has been making noteworthy theatre. We are based in Rotterdam, Holland since 1973. The company is led by Mirjam Koen, Ton Lutgerink, and myself - who come from the worlds of theatre, modern dance, and visual arts - and financial director Corry Prinsen. In O.T.'s productions, these disciplines are always put to innovative use, and since the eighties have also incorporated live video. At the end of the eighties, we began producing opera alongside theatre and dance.
With these three different disciplines combined in an artistic team our performances can’t be anything else than quite diverse and multidisciplinary: ranging from the mounting of classical plays by playwrights like Chekhov and Albee, but also performances for children often based on children’s literature like the books of William Steig. We have developed a strong combination of acting and dancing in the eighties so ‘dance performances ’ belong to our repertory too. Since 1995, we have staged six performances in Arab with Moroccan actors, thus serving the large Moroccan community in Rotterdam. Every other year, we develop a play with youngsters based on, for instance, the poems of Armando, Arthur Japin or other subjects. And since 1988, we have produced ten large scale opera’s, such as ‘Samson’ from Handel (in cooperation with the National Opera and Concerto Köln) and John Adams’ ‘The Death of Klinghoffer’ with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra. In October 2007, we premiered our tenth opera ‘Kwasi and Kwame’ based on the international bestseller: ‘The Two Hearts of Kwasi Boachi’ by Arthur Japin and composed by the British composer Jonathan Dove. Next year we will stage ‘Le vin herbé’ by Frank Martin.

We have great experience in bringing literary work to the stage. The novels of foreign writers such as Gertrude Stein, Gabriele Wohmann, Margaret Atwood, Driss Chraïbi, Manuel Puig, etc. and Dutch writers like Bernlef, Arthur Japin and many others have been adapted by us for the stage since 1979. In the near future we will adapt a novel by Carol Shields (‘Unless’) and in 2010 by Orhan Pamuk (‘The House of Silence’) to the stage.
Since 2004, O.T.'s home is a spectacular new theatre in an upcoming Rotterdam neighbourhood, the Lloydkwartier, located on the river Maas. The main theatre is flexible and can be adapted to the directors’ every fantasy. The old theatre remains in use as a rehearsal space.
