Road & Track magazine reported several months ago that Acura's next-generation NSX will come in 2+2 form with a front-engine layout.

This new version is quite different from the Advanced Sports Car Concept (ASCC) seen at the 2007 Detroit show.
Under the NSX's hood will be a 4.5-liter or 5.0-liter V-10 that will produce at least 450 naturally aspirated bhp — accouding to Road & Track, it maybe 500. It will probably feature SH-AWD, but there's still the possibility of rear-wheel drive. The car will make its debut sometime in late 2009 or 2010, with a price just north of the $100,000 mark.

I find it best to look at these photoshops with my eyes out of focus, since its all guesswork anyways. That said, I see a lot of other cars in these paintings - Nissan 350z C pillar, a little bit of Caddy's chiseled angles with the front bumper and tail lights, even some Corvette with the front fascia.
I don't really care for Japanese auto design, but the NSX kind of superseded taste and was a really respectable sports/super-car.
Too bad the midrear-engine layout is so rare with modern cars.
unless it is not located in the middle - it will not NSX
The uniqueness of the NSX will be gone.
The close to perfect weight distribution will be gone.
The super-low-slung nose will be gone.
The ultra-low ride height will be gone.
The essence of the NSX will be gone.
Don't even call it an NSX.
