Built upon a stretched version of the new Kappa architecture that underpins the 2006 Pontiac Solstice, the Chevy Nomad is a retro-styled MINI Cooper competitor that could easily be built and sold.
With 2+2 seating and a rear hatch, the Chevy Nomad offers practicality in addition to style. A 250-horsepower 2.2-liter turbocharged Ecotec inline four sits under the Nomad's long hood, driving the rear wheels through a TapShift five-speed automatic transmission.
Inside, the fan-shaped central gauge cluster glows blue at night while a triple-split rear seatback gives the Chevy Nomad multiple cargo carrying configurations.
