Pontiac G6 logo. The Pontiac G6 is a mid-size car released in late 2004 for the 2005 model year. Introduced at the 2004 North American International Auto Show, the G6 is a replacement for the Pontiac Grand Am.

PONTIAC EMBLEMS
The new Pontiac emblem GM unveiled on the G8 show car at the 2007 Chicago Auto Show. The silver emblem was created to replace the conventional red Pontiac logo we've grown accustomed over the past 40 years or so.

Pontaic Catalina emblem. The Pontiac Catalina was part of Pontiac's full-sized automobile line. Initially, the name was used strictly to denote hardtop body styles, first appearing in the 1950 Chieftain Eight and DeLuxe Eight lines. In 1959, the Catalina became a separate model, as the "entry-level" full-size Pontiac.

The emblem you have listed as a 1965 Pontiac Gran Sport is actually for a 1965 Buick Gran Sport. Pontiac did not make a Gran Sport. Just tryin' to be helpful.

i have an original hood ornament - radiator cap from a 1928 pontiac, i believe, in pristine condition, which has the face of chief pontiac (of the ottawa indian tribe, from the great lakes area of the u.s.,) which is red/copper plated, with the long feathered narrow headdress in a brushed (zinc?) finish. this radiator cap has a nickel plated base below the brushed zinc finish. upon unscrewing the brass seal inside the cap, there is enscribed: "ternstedt mfg. co. detroit, u.s.a. - patented -" this couldn't have been on a car very long, as it is in such excellent condition. it's a beauty which sits on the mantel of my bookcase. cool, eh. as a kid, i told my dad i wanted a G.T.O... he told me to get a J.O.B... (i'm closing on 62 now...)
