Just one month after presenting the quattro Spyder, Audi aroused the enthusiasm of the experts once again.
At the 1991 Tokyo Motor Show, the Audi Avus quattro stole the limelight. A futuristic sports car study with aluminium body and W12 mid-engine - Audi's commitment to perfect aluminium lightweight technology.
The W12 mid-engine has an output of 374 kW (509 bhp) and accelerates the Avus quattro to 100 km/h in less than three seconds.
