Datsun 280zx : 1980

Only 3000 of these 10th Anniversary Edition 280ZX cars were produced in early 1980, 2500 with a black and gold color scheme and 500 with a red and black color scheme. Each car was individually numbered with a commemorative plaque on the console.

11. Automatic Temperature Control
12. Black Out Exterior Trim Package
13. Tinted Windshield
14. Tinted T-bar roof
15. Auto temperature control air conditioner

I just bought one of these tonight as a restoration project, only I am a bit worried that I am in over my head. How am I gonna find someone who can re-paint her, and how can I get new decals etc? I want it to look the way it did when it came off the assembly line...

I just saw a 1980 Gold/Black with 392 miles original numbered 703, this car is showroom condition with a factory sticker still attached with the original wingfoot goodyears, what an incredible car!!

My first car was a 10th anniversary Datsun 280 zx, black and gold. Man I wish I had that car today. It was alot of car for a 16 yr old trust me. My dad sold it cause he was scared I would be killed in it.

I have red and black car number 053, Canadian. I have had it since 1983. It has 73000 km on it and still have the original tires on it. Had it repainted 7 years ago but that was all we have done to it. There was no rust on it, which is rare for a Datsun, but we never drove it in bad weather conditions and was kept inside a lot. Of all the classics we owned and we never kept, I am so glad to have kept one of them......Would like to know a value of it today,
