From its modest beginnings the small, although dynamic, URI factory now produces 8 to 10 URIs per month and caters for a diverse market ranging from tourism and recreation, law enforcement and national security, mining and construction to agriculture and hunting.

Due to a demand in the South African market it was decided to apply for SABS registration which is almost complete. To Service the South African Market a factory is being set up in Pretoria to exclusively manufacture the SABS vehicle. The Witvlei factory will also make the SABS vehicle but it will concentrate on the customisation of vehicles for individual requirements like mines and farms.
Contrary to initial perception however, the URI is not simply a vehicle. It is a power tool. The owner of an URI is not looking for a sensitive, plastic-clad vehicle with leather upholstery and clogged with gadgetry. He looks for a vehicle that can do the job!

Please could we have more info on the URI 4 x 4's. Please could you send us the web site for us to have a look at. Also we need a price on the URI's, so we can work out duties etc to bring them in to Bulawayo. I know it's a Toyota engine and drive train, what back and front axles are they using? We are very keen to set up a agency for Zimbabwe.
