After the Revolution of April of 1974, the Entreposto Commercial had some financial problems because of inflation and reduction of sales.
To try overcome this economic situation, a group of 11 engineers, mechanics and electricians developed a project in Portugal of a utility vehicle for the supermini segment .
This project, which began in 1975, called itself the "Projecto Ximba".
During 5 years they did several experienments with motors and produced several prototypes.
The commercialization began in 1982 with the SADO 550.

Sado 550 is a Datsun .... which is nothing else than Nissan ...... wihich also means that this car is from Japan and not from Portugal and there are quite more than 500 units^^

The car looks very old. I wonder if they have preserved this. Looks cool to own one though. Definitely a classic.
